Instead of ramps and lifts (and the long detours they often require), every person can experience a single, universally accessible site that fosters equity and enhances the experience for all users. Grading the entire site to be two percent slope is gentle enough for most people, including those using wheelchairs, walkers, or strollers, to navigate without needing additional ramps or separate accessible routes. A unified entry promotes inclusivity, aesthetics, safety, and practicality, ensuring a better experience for everyone.
ADA Minimum Requirement
The venue features a universal access entrance, ensuring that everyone uses the same entry point. With the entrance at grade level, there’s no need to navigate large ramps or stairs, providinga smooth and easy entry for all fans. This design removes barriers and delays, promoting independence and fostering a sense of dignity and equality, so everyone can enjoy the event withoutunnecessary obstacles.
When seating is close to amenities like restrooms and concessions, it allows fans to enjoy the event without unnecessary stress. This proximity ensures fans can take breaks, grab refreshments, or use facilities without missing the action or struggling with long distances, making the experience more enjoyable.
Accessible express lanes are provided throughout the facility to eliminate the frustration of navigatingstanchions in a wheelchair.
Ryan Field has not only met but surpassed ADA seating requirements by double. This commitment ensures that all generaladmission levels are fully accessible, allowing every fan to enjoy the experience without barriers. With multiple elevators conveniently located throughout the venue, we significantly reduce wait times, enhancing accessibility and comfort for all our guests. This achievement reflects our dedication to inclusivity and creating a welcoming environment for everyone.
